Fr. Antonios Baky
Fr. Antonios Baky is a devoted Coptic Orthodox priest serving the congregation of St. Mary & St. John Coptic Orthodox Church in Pleasanton, CA, since October 2010. He is also the Vicar of the Archdiocese of Northern California & the Western United States, a role he has faithfully fulfilled since October 2015.




About
Fr. Baky’s journey in the priesthood began with his ordination on January 25, 1996, by the late His Grace Bishop Yakobos of Zagazig, Egypt. Recognizing his dedication and service, the late His Holiness Pope Shenouda III elevated him to the rank of Hegumen on June 7, 2009.
Before embracing his calling to serve the Church, Fr. Baky pursued a professional career as an auditor at the Egyptian Central Auditing Organization in Cairo, Egypt. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Zagazig University, Class of 1983. With a heart dedicated to his congregation and a steadfast commitment to his faith, Fr. Antonios Baky continues to guide and inspire the Coptic Orthodox community in Northern California and beyond.
